Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This policy applies to page views, on-site interactions and visits to download links on V2Ray Official Portal. The site provides client information and guides. Client software, subscription services and download providers each handle data under their own policies; linking to or describing them does not bring them under this site's control.

1. Information We Collect

This is a static content site. There are no accounts to create, no email address required and no forms requesting your name, phone number or payment details. You can read guides, switch platforms and view download instructions without providing identifying information.

When you view a page or request a download, the hosting service may generate necessary technical logs, such as your IP address, request time, page path, response status, browser details and referring page. These logs help deliver responses, diagnose access errors and handle unusual requests. A static site can still generate server access logs.

Pages on this site do not need to read client configurations, subscription URLs, node credentials or files on your device. Do not add this information to query parameters in site URLs, as it may then appear in access logs.

2. Analytics and How We Use It

We use analytics to understand page views, referral sources and use of download links. Analytics events may include the download platform you select. This helps us make instructions easier to find, improve page structure and identify unusual access patterns; it does not indicate a successful installation or an active client connection.

Analytics requests may include technical information such as the page URL, referrer, browser and device category. Browser privacy settings, script blockers and network conditions can affect what gets recorded. Analytics data is used only to operate and improve the site and is not a complete record of any individual's activity.

Site analytics do not read proxy traffic, message contents or connection logs from client software. Do not share subscription links or URLs containing personal information as page parameters on this site.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Your browser may store cookies or similar identifiers for analytics, such as to recognize a session and avoid duplicate counts. Whether these are stored depends on the analytics configuration and your browser settings. This site does not need login sessions. URL fragments used by page tabs are not cookies.

If local storage is used to remember interface preferences, it should contain only settings related to page interactions, not subscription credentials. Your browser cache may retain fonts, scripts and stylesheets as part of normal resource loading; this is different from actively submitting personal information.

You can restrict cookies, clear site data or block analytics scripts in your browser. These actions may reset preferences, affect analytics or require you to repeat some interactions. Clearing browser data does not delete server logs that have already been generated.

4. Download Sources and Third-Party Services

The download center uses a same-origin download endpoint to retrieve version information and request client files. The actual files are supplied by the distribution source used by the download service. Requests may involve a reverse proxy, redirects or an external file service. A URL on this site's domain does not mean the file was developed by us or stored in the page directory.

File providers may process your IP address, request identifiers and technical logs to complete a download. Their own policies govern that processing. External links on this site are also subject to the destination site's policies; check the destination URL and the information your request may send before visiting.

Network connections, subscription updates and configuration sync after installing a client are not part of this site's web analytics. Before using these services, review the privacy policies of the client and the service provider separately.

5. Policy Updates and Feedback

We will revise this policy if the scope of data processing or site features change, and update the month shown at the top of the page. Refer to the current version. If a new feature requires you to submit information, its purpose and handling scope will be explained at the relevant point of submission.

This policy does not promise a single retention period that has not been confirmed. Operational logs should be limited to what is needed for maintenance, troubleshooting and applicable requirements, then deleted or aggregated when no longer needed.

For privacy settings related to using the client, start with the Getting Started guide. For DNS, system proxy or logging issues, see Troubleshooting. Before troubleshooting or asking for help, redact subscription URLs, access credentials and personal network information. Do not share your full configuration.
